Saratoga First Night is a family-oriented New Years celebration of
the culture and tradition in Saratoga Springs, New York. Enjoy the celebration with over 70 performances of music,
art, comedy, film, dance and lots of fun for kids from 5:30 PM December 31, 2013 to 12:30 AM on January 1, 2014.
Fireworks at Midnight
The dazzling midnight display by Alonzo Fireworks will be in Congress Park.
While the park itself cannot be entered during First Night, the best viewing will
be on peripheral streets around that area and particularly in a blocked-off
reserved parking lot on Spring Street, across from the Carousel.
First Night 5K RUN
At 5:30 pm, the annual First Night 5K run will begin at
Skidmore College Athletic Complex and will wind its way around
the campus, finishing back at the Athletic Complex.

This year's theme "Color Me First Night" will showcase an array of performances that will thrill and entertain.
From musical performances to magic acts, comedy shows, art exhibits, ballet, blue grass, and a capella - nothing
is left out.
Events kick off with the opening ceremony at 5:30 PM and continue for an evening of entertainment. The final show
of the evening, of course, will be the fireworks at midnight and final performances are from 11:00 - 11:40 PM.
Music lovers, you will not want to miss First Night in Saratoga. Folk artists, holiday choruses, rhythm and blues
singers, jazz musicians, rock 'n roll artists, country music bands, pop singers, classical orchestras, a capella
groups, opera singers and many other musical entertainers perform at over 20 different venues in Saratoga on New Years Eve.
