State Fair of Texas 2013 Schedule

State Fair of Texas at Fair Park in Dallas





    The State Fair of Texas has been a major source of entertainment for millions since 1886, as well as a powerful factor in the growth of Dallas. The highlight of 2013 Fair is the return of the Fair's iconic host Big Tex®. See you at the Fair! The State Fair of Texas is the longest running Fair in the USA, running a total of 24 days. The Fair is located just two miles east of downtown Dallas.

OPERATING HOURS:
Gates open on Friday, September 27, at 10 a.m.
Midway hours and museum hours vary.
Exhibit buildings open at 10 a.m. daily and close at 9 p.m.

Sundays - Thursdays. Buildings remain open until 10 p.m. each Friday and Saturday.

TICKETS:
General admission: $17
Child (under 48" in height) $13
Child under age 3 admitted FREE
Seniors (ages 60 and over) $13
Seniors FREE every Thursday (October 3, 10, & 17)
Parking is $15 on official State Fair lots.

Concerts on the All-New Silverado Main Stage are free with admission to the State Fair of Texas. The venue is considered a standing concert. Tickets are not issued for the concerts.
